Today is of course Independence Day, and i kinda got my own freedom b/c i wasn't working as hard today which was nice, my body appreciated it lol. i hope everyone at home and in the states somewhere enjoyed some very nice fireworks, we had some cheap firecrackers here, but the neighbors called the cops on us and spoiled all of our fun lol.
Today started out REAL good lemme tell ya lol, i led singing this morning, or at least attempted to. lesson learned, don't try to sing new songs to an older group....i bombed big time and ended up just letting ben do it. ryan gave his first devo and it was really good. then we split up into 2 groups, one to Nueva Oriental & Mololoa, the other to special needs & didasko. i didn't go on either of those. i went w/ terry, ben, tricky, & taft to the hospital to pick matt up finally and to check on our other victim in the hospital. after that we all hopped in the trucks and headed to the store, then the bank, and finally to didasko. on the way there i thought i had seen my last sight of life...as we're going down a hill terry decides to pass an 18 wheeler just before a turn, we were about half way when another 18 wheeler was coming up, so we were part of a 3 car sandwich between 2 18 wheelers on a 2 lane road...what a rush!! we finally got to didasko and the bus had beat us there. ben, tricky, and i made some minor repairs on "Terryworld" and played w/ the kids. i love that place!! we gave them food and toys, and some girls even gave their only shoes away. we got back around 6, ate supper, played a lil ball, then had devo. tricky gave a really good devo tonight i was very proud of him. then we had cake, pop, and chips for everyone for the 4th of july. then i spent the rest of the evening doing computer work...what fun!!...lol...tom is going to be a busy day and i can't wait. pray for our safety and that we may guide others in the right direction! i love and miss you all.
